Refund policy
At MAKANA TRANSPORTATION COMPANY LLC, we strive to provide reliable and high-quality transportation, shuttle, and luggage services. We understand that circumstances may change, and we aim to offer a fair refund policy while maintaining efficient operations. Please review our refund policy below:
1. Cancellations & Refund Eligibility
- Customer-Initiated Cancellations:
- Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled service will be eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service are non-refundable.
- Company-Initiated Cancellations:
- If Makana Trans Co. cancels a service due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., vehicle breakdown, extreme weather, or other operational issues), customers will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no extra cost.
2. No-Shows & Late Arrivals
- Customers who fail to show up at the designated pick-up location within 15 minutes of the scheduled time (without prior notice) will be considered a no-show and will not be eligible for a refund.
- If a customer is running late, we encourage them to contact us as soon as possible. While we cannot guarantee accommodation, we will do our best to assist.
3. Luggage & Item Handling
- If a customer cancels a luggage transport request within 24 hours, no refund will be issued.
- In case of damage or loss due to company negligence, we will assess claims on a case-by-case basis, with potential compensation not exceeding the declared value of the item or the maximum liability stated in our Terms and Conditions.
4. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days via the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the customer’s financial institution.
- Refund requests must be submitted in writing to INFO@MAKANATRANSPORTATION.COM with relevant booking details.
5. Non-Refundable Services
- Promotional, discounted, or non-refundable bookings are final and cannot be canceled or refunded.
- Any additional fees (e.g., tolls, parking, special requests) are non-refundable once the service is provided.
